Koodin Empowers DataSnipper's Brand Transformation

At Koodin, we specialize in crafting UI/UX design solutions that redefine digital experiences. One of our flagship projects was with DataSnipper, a tech scale-up in Amsterdam that reached unicorn status in 2024. Their intelligent automation platform in Excel accelerates the productivity of audit and finance teams. With a presence in 170 countries and over 500,000 active users, DataSnipper was named the fastest-growing tech company in the Netherlands by Deloitte. We supported their growth by focusing on branding, UI/UX design for their website, creating product visuals, and designing user onboarding.

DataSnipper needed a comprehensive visual identity and UI overhaul to better serve their global clientele. The key challenges included:

The solution

Building a Design Library

To ensure consistency and flexibility, we implemented a modular design system based on the redesigned brand by The Verve, an Amsterdam agency. This system includes three libraries: foundation, website, and social media. It streamlines the design process by making brand assets accessible to the entire marketing team and enhancing collaboration between design and development. The marketing team fully utilizes this library to create social media assets, build new features for the DataSnipper website, and more, maintaining coherence as DataSnipper’s brand continues to evolve.

Collaboration with Product Marketing

Partnering with the product marketing team, we developed lo-fi visuals and motion graphics specifically for animation videos used in product launches. These visuals effectively showcased DataSnipper’s key features, making it easier to explain and understand specific functionalities of the product. This visual content was integral to their marketing campaigns and product promotions, significantly enhancing user comprehension and engagement.

Implementation of Self-Serve Flow

We simplified the user onboarding process by designing an optimized self-serve flow, which included Single sign-on (SSO) login and an enhanced user dashboard. Our team managed both the UX design and front-end development, bridging the product and marketing departments. Through iterative design, stakeholder management, and rapid prototyping, we developed a working prototype within four weeks.
