Additional terms and conditions

In principle, all conditions of Koodin are the same for everyone. The only difference we sometimes make is between consultants and non-consultants. It doesn't matter whether you have been employed for a long or short time and at what hourly rate you are deployed. We do not want any hidden pay disparities and strive for total transparency. It is only fair.

Sport & Movement

If you work hard, sports can often be a nice outlet. Good for your health therefore. That is why we welcome sports. At Koodin, you have the opportunity to play padel for free between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM and can make use of the existing B-Amsterdam scheme to work out at B-Gym.

NS Business Card

To encourage sustainable mobility, everyone at Koodin can get an NS Business Card. For non-consultants, Koodin pays for this, so ask yourself if you will really use it. It would be a waste if it never leaves your inner pocket. Note: the NS Business Card is only intended for business use.

Extra

Work from everywhere budget

Because we find (partially) working from home very convenient and a great solution, we are happy to contribute to good equipment so you can work comfortably at home as well. Therefore, you will receive a budget of €2,500 including VAT before your first working day, followed by €2,000 including VAT every 5 years.

You will receive full freedom from us to choose your own equipment.

Koodin depreciates this equipment over a period of 5 years down to a residual value of 10%. If you unexpectedly choose to leave the company within these five years, the equipment and the associated costs (including VAT) according to the depreciation model are yours. If Koodin decides to terminate the contract, the costs and equipment are ours.

In the meantime, you are of course responsible for what happens to your equipment. So if you lose something due to negligence (for example: your laptop is stolen from your car), the costs are yours. So please handle your equipment carefully and sustainably.

Things to consider:
  • The tax authorities require that you use the laptop for at least 90% business purposes; otherwise, they consider it a form of salary and income tax must be paid.

  • The invoice for the purchase must be in the name of Koodin.

  • For the first four years, the laptop remains the property of Koodin.

  • Handle your laptop carefully. If you are negligent (for example, if a laptop is left in the car and then stolen), the resulting costs are your responsibility.

  • If you ever need specific software to work for a client, Koodin will reimburse the licensing costs.

  • Be cautious when using tools that facilitate your work, such as browser plugins, as they can potentially jeopardize a confidentiality agreement/NDA with your client.

  • If you want to spend more than the budget, you can do so. This will then be deducted from your salary.
