Senior Only
Imagine this: you (as a customer) are not satisfied with your company's website and are looking for a digital partner who can help. The sales pitches look impressive, and the senior experts from those companies explain very well what they are going to deliver. You are satisfied and choose a large (and well-known) consultancy firm. And then it starts:
The senior(s) you saw during the sales process have suddenly disappeared. With a bit of luck, you see one of them again.
A team is starting that does not fully understand the customer's request, which the sales process began with.
The juniors are the driving force behind the project. A mid-level (or if lucky, a senior) provides guidance.
This, in our opinion, is exactly how it should not go, but unfortunately quite common in the consultancy world. A customer faces a challenge and asks for expertise (not for juniors who come to learn for a lot of money). At that moment, a partner is needed who can provide the right direction and can steer the customer when choices threaten to be made that could cause problems in the long run.
