Koodin has guided the development of a new intranet for TNO, which has elevated their internal collaboration and communication strategy to a higher level. In the role of Senior Project Manager, we were responsible for an impact analysis of platform choice, setting up a new technical and content structure, and coordinating the UX designs in collaboration with an external agency. The project included user testing, content migration, and the installation of a new editorial team. Additionally, we developed a governance framework to keep the new intranet sustainable and of high quality. The result is a user-friendly platform that greatly contributes to the internal communication objectives.

In developing the new intranet for TNO, the focus is on choosing a technical solution that has minimal impact on the organization. The goal is to create a platform that optimally supports employees in their daily tasks by placing good information provision at the center. Additionally, it is important to create pride by gathering and sharing stories, news, and interesting facts from the organization. It is also crucial to bring the outside world in by effectively integrating current news within TNO.

Project management

Besides the technical and substantive aspects, stakeholder management plays a crucial role. Regular alignment with various departments and stakeholders ensures that their needs and wishes are incorporated into the project. Establishing and monitoring a detailed plan guarantees that deadlines are met, while budget monitoring is essential to keep costs within the agreed margins. The project administration, including documentation of all decisions, progress reports, and risk analyses, ensures that the project remains transparent and well manageable.
